I have been fortunate to have lived a very colourful life. I have lived in 7 different countries, speak 4 languages and travelled around the world. In all this ... 3 things have been key interests of mine. Nutrition and Health, Personal and Professional development-training and coaching and techie 'stuff'.
I have always had an interest in computers and what you can create with them. When my eldest daughter was born, to pass time I did an online java code course, learned dreamweaver and HTML coding ... but my then 2 children were too young for me to pursue a career in IT ... just didn't want to leave them in a creche when they were so young. So I went into personal development, coaching and training. Loved that and was and still am good at it.
10 years ago I wrote my first book. I then learned that in order to make my business more lucrative and worth more I needed assets. I looked at my business and thought ... I have a book, I have years of training experience and skill ... and all my business worth is in my head. I can't leave it behind, I can't sell with me ... and it was then I was introduced to the idea of creating online courses.
I think I was ahead of my time. Back in 2012, most people still wanted the tradition face to face approach. Despite that ... I updated my computer skills and developed my online courses, hypnotic audios and video content.
But knowing good computer skills was not enough. My years of being a trainer and I guess the way my mind works, helped me to hear and see programs all over the place. Often I would be speaking to service based solopreuners and they would say to me that they don't know what their product is. A conversation would start and 2-3 hours later I could show them what their product is and helped them to develop it as an online program. I started all this as favours to friends. :)
Years later ... Covid hit. Work became more challenging but the plus for all service based solopreuners is that online work became acceptable and wanted. And so, here I am. As a very creative and problem solving person, I now get to play with things that I love doing.
Developing an online course has 3 elements to it:
1. You have to Design it.
2. You have to Create what the product is.
3. You have to Build it.
I work with my clients on as much or as little as they need. Most people either don't have the time to do all of it or they don't have the know how. My free consultation will give you the opportunity to gage what you want and how much you want.
Feel free to set up a chat with me and work out what is your next step.
Here's to your success
